V marci 2023 sa naši žiaci SZŠ venovali čítaniu kníh v anglickom jazyku. Prvákov a druhákov zaujal detský obrázkový príbeh The Hungry Caterpillar o nenásytnej húsenici, ktorý napísal Eric Carle. Tretiaci odštartovali školský projekt čítania príbehov o zvieratkách Bee a Reader a získali prvé „včielkové“ nálepky do ich čitateľských preukazov. Chlapcom zo VII. A padol do oka príbeh Sherlock Holmes: The Reigate Puzzle, ktorého autorom je Sir Arthur Connan Doyle. Žiaci napísali k tejto knihe recenziu a vytvorili interview medzi hlavnými postavami. A dievčatá z VIII. A zaujal román pod názvom Polyanna od americkej spisovateľky Eleanor H. Porter, ku ktorej vytvorili mapu charakterov a napísali recenziu. V čítaní príbehov v anglickom jazyku budeme pokračovať aj naďalej.
